It's Like Christmas in July...

only it's still June. Mommy & Daddy surprised me with a couple of new toys this week...one of which is this super cute table & chairs from IKEA...I love them!!!!

Here's Daddy playing a silly game with me...I spent probably 90% of my day today hanging out at the table. Too much fun!

Fun with Jennie

Went to lunch with Jennie today and although the lunch part did not go too well (let's just say I really dislike being confined), I had a blast afterwards. Jennie didn't know I was going to wear the outfit she got me and somehow she managed to coordinate with me.

The Oasis

Went to lunch with Mommy, Daddy, Beau & Trina today at the Oasis. If you remember, which you won't, we tried to eat out with Beau when I was like 2 months old...needless to say it did not go well. However, today went much better...we sat outside and had a great time. Here's me & Beau...he's really nice! Somehow we left without getting a picture with Trina. Not sure how that happened... And here I am showing off...

15 Months Old

I am 15 months old today. Current stats are: 29 1/2 inches tall (30% - this went up!) and 20 lbs and 6 1/2 oz (15%). My head, of course, is still 75%. Just call me lollipop head...ha!

Yo Gabba Gabba

I love me some Yo Gabba Gabba -- it is a great TV show. Recently, I have started dancing around and going crazy when it's on -- especially during the remix part.

Here I am dancing and then imitating my younger buddy AJ by rolling around on the floor. Since I started walking, I don't really lay around on the floor but after AJ's visit this past week, I have decided that it is really fun..I guess I forgot how much I enjoyed it.

Daddy & Me Time

Daddy got home from work kind of early today so we spent some good quality time together.

He read me a few books (as I sat on top of him)...
and we played this game for about 30 minutes. I found it to be hilarious!

My Boyfriend

Well technically he's just a friend who's a boy...but he is one of my only boy friends.

As you can see, AJ & Michelle came over to play and AJ is so cute...he was crawling around (doing his best breakdancing move - the Worm! We caught it on video...check out his blog and it will probably be posted sometime) and we just had a great time together.

I forced Michelle to read me some books, insisting of course on making her read the same one many times. That is my new favorite thing to do. And I do insist on it...you can't deny me!
And here is Michelle, AJ & I...for once we are all looking at the camera...a miracle! Too bad Mommy could not be in the picture.

Can't Stop Talking

Ever since we got back to Austin, I have been quite chatty...tonight I talked to Pops on the phone and talked his ear off!

Special shout out to Daddy, Pops and Pablo!

So for Father's Day, Mommy & I commissioned her friend Brooke to do a portrait of me for Daddy. It turned out awesome -- Brooke is so talented! Daddy loved it and said it was probably the best gift he has ever gotten.
The portrait is based off of a picture of me that was taken at 13 months old. Here is the original photo that Brooke had to work with. Now Mommy & Daddy just have to figure out where to hang it!!

Day on the Lake

Today was my 1st day out on Lake Austin and boy was it fun! Thanks to Team Tilson for having us -- we had lots of fun with my aunt, uncle and cousin as well as the Blunts!

This is a special message to Jeanie/Mom/Granny & Rudy/Dad/Pops. Thank you so much for watching our precious girl. We are fortunate enough to have people who are able to watch Ava and are willing to do so for such a long period of time. We know she had a wonderful time visiting and is looking forward to her stay in July. A special thanks for the many pictures (sorry we could not post them all -- it was hard to pick which to use) and thanks for the 8+ pages of diary entries -- they crack us up and allow us to feel like we didn't miss a thing. We love you guys.

Sun 6/8, 4:54am Nobody told me what time church was and I didn't want to be late so I got up. Granny tried to put me in bed with them...It was really Granny's fault that I got up so early because before I went to bed, Granny told me "one more night and Mommy and Daddy will come home" and so I slept one night - I was ANXIOUS FOR MOMMY AND DADDY BECAUSE I MISS THEM - I LOVE THEM - THEY ARE THE BEST PARENTALS IN THE WORLD!!

4:15pm Good afternoon everybody -- are my parentals here yet????

Here's a shot of me and my parents when they finally made it back around 6ish...Mommy cried and I could tell Daddy was happy to see me too! I'm looking forward to my next stay at Camp "O" in July.

Sat 6/7, After lunch - I played with Tiny Tears & Samantha (Granny's dolls) - now let me tell you - they are fun to play with - I love Tiny Tears & Samantha. I hugged them and patted them on the back as if I were burping them and then I would give them a ride in the little red wagon - they liked me pulling them around.

Thurs 6/5, 7:30am - We (Granny, Pops & I) took a morning neighborhood cruise in my stroller - the SCHOOL BUS came by and I wanted to go to school but they told me that I'm still too young - shucks!


10:15am - We're on the deck playing - smelling & picking flowers -we got to swing and play on the gym - WOW! I got gravel in my bloomers - that's funny.
Got to play in the back of Pops' truck -neato.

Visit to Camp "O" - Diary Excerpt #1

Mommy & Daddy headed off for some much needed R&R in Mexico so I went and stayed at Camp "O" with Granny & Pops last week. The following few posts are from my time spent there. All transcription was done by Pops in Mommy's absence.

Wed 6/4: 8:00 am - Recess - I enjoyed the Camp "O" outdoor gym. I especially liked the sand box - woohoo, that was fun.
