Smooches

As I have said before, I am all about grabbing things these days and putting them in my mouth. So today, while playing in my gym, I saw a beautiful baby in the mirror, grabbed it and proceeded to kiss the other baby. Strangely enough, that baby looked a lot like me!

5 Months Old

I am 5 months old today...my how time has flown! I am getting so big and doing new things all the time. Here are some pics of me from this morning.

Here I am practicing sitting up on my own. I can't do it for too long but I like to practice. I look a little tired because I just woke up from a nap so please excuse the glazed over look on my face.

The Ride Home

I don't nap well at places other than home. We're working on it. So after leaving Houston, I conked out for the long car ride home and Mommy took this pic of me in the monkey mirror. My heads actually up for once!

Tonight we drove into Houston to visit Pablo (to you folks thats my Grandpa)....here we are chillin on the couch. I look so small!

Bouncertime Part 2

Ok so I posted a pic of me in the bouncer chair the other day and although it was a funny pic, it did not fully express the joy I feel while being in this chair. So I had Mommy snap a few more pics of me and now I think you get the idea. (I sometimes am camera shy and refuse to smile at the camera so that is why the second one is taken from a funky angle)

Dinner

Tonight we went to dinner with my Daddy's Uncle Gene, Aunt Betty and Cousins Gail and Alexa...I could try to figure out what that makes them to me (Great Uncle, etc.) but since I am only 5 months old (almost), I figure you guys will let that slide.

We had fun but I got tired (as you can see from the below pics). I was glad I got to meet them though!

And we even got a semi decent family photo of me, Mommy & Daddy!

Bouncer Time!

Today I got to try out the over the door bouncer -- it was fun. I am still not fully used to it so I only hung out in it for a few minutes but I can tell I am really going to like it. Here is a little video and a pic of me in it. Note: Despite the "Grrr" face I am making below, I really was interested in the bouncer and did enjoy myself. This just happens to be a funny photo.

Feet

I just discovered my feet this weekend and boy are they fun! My new favorite thing is to roll around on the floor while holding them...check it out!

Saturday in Conroe

We went to Conroe this weekend to visit Granny & Pops. This morning we went down to the pool and hung out. Here are a few shots.



After we came back, Mommy & I were exhausted. Daddy found us upstairs asleep together (no this is not posed) and from the looks of it Mommy was trying to steal my pacifier!

And here I am sitting up unassisted for about 5 seconds. I haven't really mastered this skill yet but I want to...I love sitting up!

Goofing Around

Today was Mommy's (and Granny's) birthday. Happy Birthday(s)! To celebrate, we went out to eat and when we got back, Mommy, Daddy & I decided to be a bit silly and take self portraits. Me & Z

Today I decided to actually pet my kitty Zaphod. Well it was more like grabbing/petting but it still counts! Z has been getting closer to me everyday and today I finally reached out and grabbed him. He loves to be petted!

Grocery Shopping

Today we went grocery shopping...it was the first time I got to sit in the cart without my car seat and it was a blast. I was very interested in everything and loved looking around. I am getting so big!

Razzberries!

Here is some video of me doing my new favorite thing...blowing razzberries! I do this for up to 10 minutes at a time sometimes...I am quite fond of it and Mommy & Daddy find it pretty funny.

That's Mine!

So Mommy, Daddy & I went and ran errands today and when we got back, we found that Mr. Ford decided to take a nap...in MY chair! The nerve! Thought it was pretty funny though so we took a picture.

Lounging

Today Mommy and I went over to watch Sawyer while Aunt Gabe had an errand to run. While Sawyer was napping, I hung out with Sandwich (the cat) and Babo (ugly doll) in her big cushy chair. Don't I look cute?

my new tricks! Here are some photos of things I have gotten good at recently.

1) Holding my head up while laying on my tummy.
2) Putting my fist in my mouth repeatedly....trust me this is not even as far as it goes in. I can sometimes get almost my whole fist in there.

3) Hanging out in my Bumbo playing with the cats (or rather the cats play with me!)

Kewpie Do

Anyone still own a Kewpie doll? Well Mommy remembers them quite well and so she styled my hair last night into a Kewpie like hairdo...or some may call it the faux hawk. At any rate, it still looked like this when I woke up today. You can see it in both of the below shots.

In other news, I have learned to roll over (from my stomach to my back) and Mommy caught a video of it. You can see it here:
