I'm Working on it!/ What Ava Has Been Saying

Ok finally updated more of the blog again.  We are almost up to date, people!  Yeah!  Next step is to upload the photos on my camera from the past few weeks and see if I have any new videos too.  Again, really sorry I have slacked (I know my 2 readers are sad). I did try to get to this point a few weeks ago but Blogger decided it had enough of me and kept mucking things up.

So close to being done!  So make sure you check back from August 7th until now to see all new posts.

And I know will reward you with a little bit of "What Ava Has Been Saying Lately."

1. She continues to sometimes mispronounce words…I know I will be sad the day she says these correctly so I don't want to forget them, especially my 2 favorites 1) Musgit instead of music and 2) bepologize as in “Daddy, I want to tell you something. I bepologize. I really really sorry."  Too funny.

2.  In the car one day, Ava says “Mommy I miss Ford. Can we find him on his adventures? I want to play detectives. I want to detective where Ford is. I want to find his pawprint to see it. Ford is in trouble. He’s lost. He’s in a berry bush and he is stuck. STUCK!!! He can eat the berries. He’s in a berry bush. Mommy Ford is lost. I miss him. I want to go on an adventure to find Ford.”  Note: Ford has been missing since May but Ava does not want to forget about him and although it makes me sad, I love that she refuses to believe he is gone for good.

3. While doing a puzzle, “Mommy I need help.”
Me: “No you can do it yourself, you do this one all the time.”
Ava: “No I need help. It says so in my book. (then says this part really slowly & with hand motions) I need help.” If you’re kid watches Super Why you will understand this.

4. Ava: “Mommy, you’re a good reader. You’re a good singer.”
Darren: “What I am good at Ava?”
Ava: “You’re good at tooting.” Then she adds “You’re a good painter, markerer. You’re a good drawer too.”
Sorry Darren but it is too funny not to post.

5. Ava helped me out with the laundry the other day. She carried it to the laundry room and then put each piece in the washer.  As she is doing it, she spots a pair of my underwear and says "Mommy, your polka dot panties are amazing!"
