More Updates to Come

So I just realized that I have not uploaded any videos in a long time. I know I have some cute ones from around Christmas so I will try to post some of those soon. So check back soon!

Park

The weather has been amazing all week (high 60s and sunny) so we have made it to the park quite a bit. Today we met up with Marin, Tatum & Carla and hit up their neighborhood park.

Ava & Marin rode their bikes on the basketball court (of course Ava wanted a helmet but she does not have one yet).

Then we hit up the swings...Ava loves the swings and the park I go to with her does not have them (which is nice for me but sad for Ava).

Ava started taking dance again and this year she actually runs into class! It is great. It probably helps that she is a bit older and she has 2 friends in class too.

Fun with Trina

While Beau & Darren were out at the UT vs. A&M basketball game, Trina came over for a girl's night in. Before Ava headed to bed, Trina was nice enough to entertain her. They played dress up and Trina even read her a bedtime story. So cute. Ava for the most part did her own thing (which she doesn't seem to do as much when it is just me or Darren here) -- maybe I need to have company over more often??

B-Day Party & the Mall

Today we headed over to the Inflatable Wonderland for a birthday party for Tatum. Ava had a lot of fun jumping on the bouncy houses and of course going down the slide a million times.

After the party, as we were walking through the mall, Ava insisted on riding this mini carousel...she had a blast. Now I want to go find a real carousel for her to ride on!

Ava's Performance

Ava loves Disney songs...personal favorites these days are "A Dream is a Wish (Cinderella)", "Cinderella", "A Whole New World (Aladdin)", "Belle (Beauty & the Beast)" - she calls this one "Little Town" and "Once Upon a Dream (Sleeping Beauty)". Here she is singing and dancing to the Sleeping Beauty song. Pretty cute if I do say so.

Here is a photo of Darren & Ava in our leftover NYE hats...good thing Trina wrangled them up on NYE...Ava loves these. Might be her favorite new toys.
