Mine & Daddy's Road Trip

While Mommy was in NYC visiting baby Griffin (and Cortney & Jack), Daddy & I went on a road trip to see Granny & Pops. Our trip consisted of eating ice cream, playing in the sand box, swimming in the pool and the following:

"Cheers!" I love having popsicles with Granny.

Cooking breakfast for the old folks (Daddy included)...eggs and biscuits!

Although I was nervous about fishing with Pops at first, I soon got the hang of it and loved catching the little fishies...don't worry we always threw them back! We had so much fun I did not miss Mommy as much as she thought I would.

Day at the Park

We headed downtown today to check out this park that has a great water feature we could play in. Unfortunately, it was being worked on today so we had to make do with just running around the park. It was still pretty fun.

Boating

Some photos from our weekend on the boat...on Saturday on the way back to our dock, we got poured on! Hence the shot below where I am soaking wet...it rained so hard, it woke me from my nap and we had to pull over to wait it out. But we had a blast anyways. I love meeting up with my cousins and getting in my floatie and have even come to love the "jumpies" (or waves that other boats make).

New Deck

Our new deck in the backyard was completed today...it is awesome. We can't wait to enjoy it this summer. Next stop -- staining!

Story Time

We went to the story time at the Bee Caves library today...it is awesome! I had a great time hanging out with Sawyer, Lexie and Finley.

End of Year Picnic

Here are some photos my friend sent from the end of year picnic at school...that's me and my gal pals Cypress & Gaby hanging out eating popsicles...we will be in the same class again next year and are hoping to get together this summer some. Popsicles are yummy!!

Just like Mommy, I love to paint...so we did some today and even got out potatoes and used them as stamps.

By the end, I always paint on my body...too much fun and I am SO proud of my work!

Boat

After 6+ years of talking about getting a boat, Daddy finally decided to just do it! Yeah!

Unfortunately, we were not able to go out too much this weekend as it was rainy then cold but we did go out for a bit...here I am enjoying a snack..

and here we are checking out the impending rainstorm...we got in just in time...it poured rain and thundered right as Daddy got in the truck. Here's hoping next weekend will be better weather!

While in Dallas we went over to Ian's cousins' house and played around. I fell in love with one of his older cousins, Patrick (12) and just laughed whenever I saw him. Maybe b/c he made funny faces at me or maybe I just thought he was cute...

Ian's house, Ian's house...that is all I could talk about on the way to Dallas and on the way back from Dallas...do you think I like my cousin Ian? Yes! Here we are swinging...we had a lot of fun together this weekend and swinging was no exception. We would giggle the whole time...I already miss him!

More Landscaping

This weekend we finished up the landscaping in the front yard and I even got to plant some flowers in "Ava's garden."
