We went over to Gabe's today and played for a bit in a baby pool in the backyard...Michelle & AJ came too and it was a lot of fun.

Daddy has been working SUPER hard the last 2 weeks and we finally got to spend some good time together this evening...I was EXCITED!!!

We went over to AJ's house today to play. They are getting ready to move away to Houston...I am sad. :( So we are getting in as much playtime as possible before they go.

Aren't we cute? We are discussing how to remove the box that is blocking the ever so fun fireplace.
I showed Michelle all my new tricks -- like how I love to straddle and sit on your back.
AJ and I looked in the backyard to see if either of our Daddys were mowing the yard (we are both fans of watching them do yard work). Nope! They weren't there.
And I hung out in their front window in my fireman's hat that I got with my kid's meal. Best toy from a restaurant ever!

Happy Little Girl

Mommy managed to get a bow in my hair today (and I did not notice it so I actually wore it around for a bit) and she told me I look just like a big girl. I ran around like crazy (it took me a few days to readjust after all the fun at Camp O) today and had a good time. As you can see...

Table for One

I've been having some issues with my highchair lately...basically I just refuse to sit in it. So Mommy sets my table for one and lets me eat my meals there...as long as I remain seated. Anyone care to join me??

Bathing Drama

Here's more funny thoughts I wrote in my diary from Camp O. Had to share these...

Wed 7/2, 6:30pm - I overhead Mommy telling Granny that I don't like to take a bath, but these 'ole folks gave me a bath anyways. I did well for 1 minute and 37 seconds.

Fri 7/4, 6:45pm - I'M TELLING ON GRANNY & POPS!!! They "tried" giving me a shower and that lasted 11 seconds so then they "tried" giving me a bath and that lasted 8 seconds.

Sat 7/5, time indeterminate - Let me tell you a funny thing, remember me telling you yesterday that I was going to tell on Granny & Pops because they "tried" to give me a bath. I guess that they overheard me saying that I was going to tell on them because this evening they didn't force me into the bath tub - instead they just got a wash rag and just wiped me off. I showed them who's boss - didn't I -- score one point for me - yea!!

My Secret Notes from Camp O - Excerpt #3

Man, I'm beat - somebody please show me to bed. What a day! I went to my 1st Okruhlik Reunion and I think (but don't let anybody read this) that I made Granny & Pops proud of me. I played this game where some of my kin blood would take me and after a minute or two, I would voice my opinion and I got back into the arms of either Granny or Pops quickly. I heard at least 20 different people call me "little Darren" today...I'm not really sure what that means...

I got to decorate a cookie with icing, some M&Ms and some sprinkles with [cousin] Brenna...

Good Morning America! Happy 4th of July. It's good to be American (New York) made...

...Pops took me outside to watch the workers [rebuilding the deck] and I talked up a storm to them - they just got tickled at me - said I was cute.

We had a picnic lunch with them outdoors. That was fun!
