Is It Hot...

or is it just me? We went to an art festival this weekend and it was HOT!!! Daddy says I have Granny's disease..you know the one where you get super rosy cheeks if it's hot out? Anyways, I had sunscreen on and Daddy styled my hair so I could run around the park...it was awesome.

New Dress

Mommy sewed me a new dress this weekend (with a little help from G-Mommy). It ended up being a very 70's/retro inspired dress (especially with the rick rack) but I love it! It's a little big so Mommy has decided that the 2nd version of this dress (in very modern fun fabric) will have to be made a size smaller. Once it's complete, I'm sure I'll show it off as well...Mommy still dresses me so I have no choice!
The back is so cute! It criss crosses and my bloomers just peek through.

Bottle

I dug out some of my old bottles from a drawer yesterday and literally spent at least an hour and half playing with them...screwing the lids on and having Mommy unscrew them and singing little songs into the mouth of them. I also discovered the old breast pump parts...too bad Mommy did not get video of that! PS. I'm 14 months old today...where did the time go?

My new favorite thing to do outside? Carry around Smokey's tennis balls and occasionally toss them for him. Watch as Daddy closely monitors us. :)

I'm still a bit embarrassed about my dancing so I only do it for short bursts...but Mommy caught me on film today...

Mommy loves to take self portraits (and have other people take their own self portraits too). So she included Daddy & I in a self portrait this weekend...of course we weren't really expecting her to take a photo...so we aren't smiley like she is.

BasketHead

I discovered a new game yesterday...I like to call it BasketHead...instead of putting my headbands on, I now put my Easter basket on my head and run around. Daddy thinks I look a little like a shriner with my basket on...what do you think?

PS. Sorry for the lack of posts but my 2nd molar is coming in and I have been cranky...and Mommy has been worn out so she doesn't take as many photos. Cross your fingers that I cut this tooth soon so I can go back to happy go lucky Ava all the time!
