Strolling

Mommy, Gabe, Sawyer, Lexie & I went for a walk today---we now go on regular walks at least 2 times a week. It's probably pretty funny seeing us all walking today. Well not as funny as the time we went walking and Uncle Lyndon and the 2 dogs came...we must have been quite the sight.

PPS. It's amazing this is actually a good picture of all 3 of us...its really hard to get 3 kids all looking at the camera.

Beautiful Day

It's 75 degrees or something here today. In February...that's Texas weather for you. Mommy & I hung outside for a good hour or so in the backyard. Aren't I cute?

Wiggle Time

Here is our afternoon ritual when we are at Aunt Gabe's house -- Sawyer and I watch the Wiggles. We are both way too engaged in the TV.

I love Z...he is my BFF. He can't get away from me even when he tries...I just lay down on him.

Reading is Fun

I love books! I have easy access to them now (thanks to my Ava-sized basket) and my favorites are the touch & feel kind.

Barstool Walking

Anything that can be used as a walker is used as a walker. I love to move and I am getting a bit tired of crawling. One of these days I am going to walk on my own!

Stairs

Here is a video of me crawling up the stairs at Aunt Gabe's house (my fave thing to do these days). This video is actually less about me and more about my cousin Sawyer, my personal cheerleader...or not. Watch how she cheers me on and then turns on me at the end of the video when I get too close to her chips. Ha ha.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy V-day everyone! Here is what I did today...

went through my diaper bag and played with everything on the floor (clothes are always a great toy!)...


played dress up with the bunny ears and flower headband that I got as an early Easter present...

and here is me lounging in the new chair I got for V-day along with one of the 3 awesome My Little Ponys that my Daddy got me.

Still a Little Girl

Daddy & Mommy get a kick out of seeing me pull up on everything these days. I look so small standing up that they think it will be pretty funny when I start walking around. Could be sooner than you think....

Crashing Hard

After being sick this last week, I have been struggling to take normal naps especially in the afternoon, so sometimes Mommy lays down with me on my couch so that I will get a good nap (otherwise everyone feels the wrath of little Ava). Since she was not tired today, she left me on the couch (closely monitored by Daddy of course). I was TIRED. And naked (it was hot!)

I'm a Big Girl...

After several weeks of transitioning away from a bottle (and buying/trying out of millions of different sippy cups), I finally am making some progress into drinking out of my cup all by myself (as seen at lunch this past Saturday). yeah! Of course, just because I can do it doesn't mean I will...why do something yourself if others will do it for you? Ha ha.



G-Mommy was there to witness the event. We went to lunch with her at a new place called Bread Bar that had a great atmosphere (too bad the food was sub par). Here is me & G having a good time on the outdoor couches.

Kitty Massage

Here I am practicing the fine art of kitty massage on my willing test subject, Zaphod. Notice how I sing beautiful songs to him as I work out all those knots.

when you can stand up? Mommy heard me talking after my morning nap and found me standing up. She knew it was only a matter of time until she found me this way.

Walking...Kind Of

Not only have I started pulling up on things, but I now walk behind my "walker" and my big red car. Look at me go!!

The Things I Get Into...

#1 - The dog bed. It's me & the cats favorite spot. #2 Under the dining room table -- it provides a great place to hide out.
#3 Tired of waiting on Mommy & Daddy to put out toys for me, I get my own these days. Here I am getting out my new magic wand.
