Happy to Be at Home

Today was Mommy's first day back at home. We went over to Aunt Gabe's because G-mommy was closing on her new place. Here I am smiling at her. I am so happy!

Just When You Think It Is Safe to Leave the House..

it's not! Mommy & Daddy took me out to eat with Daddy's friend Beau but I was tired and got really mad so we had to leave. But here I am hanging out with Daddy while we waited for a table -- I was happy then! Going out is not my favorite thing...you would think Mommy & Daddy would remember that nighttime is hit or miss with me.

3 Months Old

I turned 3 months old yesterday. As you can see, I am a super smiley baby these days.

Recently I have been doing some new tricks. Here I am holding my head up all by myself!

And here I am holding my own bottle and feeding myself. My daycare teacher Grandma Judy told Mommy I was very "sharp" since I can do this and since I have been turning around completely in my crib. She said I was very smart for my age.

My Week at Camp

For the past week, I was at school while Mommy was working. Half way through the week, Mommy decided that she disliked seeing me (at best) for only an hour awake each day. Mommy was sad and I also missed her so Daddy and her decided it was best for her to stay at home with me starting next week. Yeah!

Mommy was sad about leaving work but is super excited about hanging out with me again.

So instead of calling my stint at daycare school, I am calling it camp since it was like a little vacation. Here are some snapshots (from the webcam) of Grandma Judy (my teacher) rocking me and my (boy)friend Walker. Mommy & Daddy enjoyed peeking in on me every day (ok so more like every hour).

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Daddy! You are the best! I love you!

Today me, Mommy & Daddy slept late and then went out for a late breakfast at Flores. It was yummy! Here I am posing with Daddy.


I had Mommy buy Daddy 2 books that he could read to me -- they are about Daddy's and their kids. I also got Daddy a gift certificate to go golfing -- he deserves a break sometimes!

Finally, I had Mommy take some pics of me this week and help me create this card for Daddy. Mommy is very good at making cards so since I can't write yet, she was the perfect accomplice.

Mommy's Last Weekday at Home

Here I am snoozing in Mommy's bed (not a usual occurence but since Mommy is going back to work on Monday and we won't be seeing each other as much, she wanted to be close to me and so she brought me into her room for my last few hours of sleep).



Here I am dreaming about Mommy not going back to work -- see my big smile? Such a shame that she has to go back--I will miss her!

Waking Up is Hard to Do

I Rolled to My Stomach...

but wouldn't you know, my Mommy missed it. She left me on my mat for a minute and when she came back I was on my tummy. Been getting good at rolling to one side but this was the 1st time I rolled all the way over. And since she missed it, I refused to do it again for her. But I did taunt her by rolling to my side like 100 more times...ha ha ha!

Quick Trip

Mommy, Aunt Gabe, Cousin Sawyer and I made a quick trip down to Houston today to see Pablo & Coco since I have not seen them in a long while. Here I am chillin' with Pablo...

I even got to see Mommy's friend Rosemary for a bit, although I was a little tired (i.e. grumpy) as you can see from the below. Rosemary just got engaged so Mommy and I were dying to see the ring and I of course wanted to meet her. Sorry Rosemary for crying!

Since I won't see my Aunt again until November :( I wanted to post a few more cute pics of us together. Can't wait to meet Uncle Jack then at their wedding! NYC here I come (ok a few more months to go but I am excited!)

No, That's Not My Mommy...

it's Aunt Cortney. Although the first shot kind of looks like Mommy. Meeting my Aunt Cortney was great -- she was super cool despite the fact that I was cranky when we first met yesterday. But I am doing much better today. :)

Hands Full

Here I am in my gym - I played a lot in it while I was hanging out with my dad today. As you can see I have gotten quite good at grabbing all my toys.

Awaiting Aunt Cortney

My Aunt Cortney is flying in today from NYC to see me. I can't wait! I am so excited. I made a sign to welcome her (my cousin Sawyer taught me how to). I wish Uncle Jack could have come too -- I was looking forward to meeting him. :(

Daddy & Me

When Daddy got home from work today, we hung out. Literally. Or at least I did. I was a little cranky so he walked me around the house and outside. I love when my Daddy is home. He is the best!

Rolling

Today I rolled to my side all by myself. Mommy & Daddy have been showing me how to do it but I did it on my own today. Yeah me! Next stop, tummy time!

Mommy & Me

Here is a cute pic of Mommy looking at me. I am naked here because I was hot. Mom always wants pics of her and me so she had Daddy take this shot. (Mommy does not like the way she has been taking photos recently so she is looking at me on purpose -- plus I am just too cute :))

My New Chair

Mommy & Daddy bought me this cool chair today. It will help me sit up once I can completely hold my head up on my own. I am this close (imagine my tiny fingers about an inch apart) to holding my neck up by myself. It should be fun!
